“Journey of Faith: 150 Years of Black History”
Throughout February and early March 2010
Opens to the public Thursday, February 4th
Recognizing 150 years of African American struggle from slavery, segregation and prejudice, this exhibit includes U.S. Civil Rights timeline and notable individuals, historical timeline of African Americans in Petaluma and Sonoma County, local NAACP, Tuskegee Airman, Buffalo Soldiers, Negro League, Kwanzaa traditions, costumes, historical memorabilia and more. Features images from the National Archives and Records Administration.
Admission is free, but donations to the Museum will be accepted.
