Mike Dowdall is a Vietnam War Combat Veteran.  The drawings in the show are dedicated to American Veterans of our past and current wars, especially Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans.

Mike’s tour in Viet Nam included weathering the Siege of Ben Het, in Viet Nam’s central highlands during the summer of 1969.

Today, Mike attends several VA support meetings each week to deal with his PTSD.

“No veterans return from war unwounded.  It takes the courage of a warrior to ask for support.”

Mike is a published author, illustrator and has been a well-respected product developer in the gift and stationery industry.  He has successfully launched many products.  His professional experience includes stints as VP of Creative for Portal Publications, Creative Director of Ensemble (A division of Hallmark), and as Creative Manager at Dakin, at the time, America’s most respected maker of stuffed animals.
