SFC Tawnya Sharke is the Senior Operating Room NCO for the 352nd Combat Support Hospital out of Camp Parks, CA. She began her deployment process in early February of 2011 and was stationed at FOB Salerno, Afghanistan from March to December 2011. While there she was the NCOIC of the Operating Room for the FOBs Hospital. She has been in the Army Reserves for almost 14 years.

Matthew L Jensen has served in the United States Marine Corp for Two tours in Iraq, multiple counter-terrorism missions in Southeast Asia and humanitarian aid missions for tsunami victims of Sri Lanka.
After his Marine Corp career he joined the Army National Guard and deployed back to Iraq where he did convoy security mission.
Matthew L Jensen now resides in Santa Rosa, Ca with a great support system form his family and other vets in the local area, and VA doctors and staff. He is a political science major at SRJC and hopes of one day working with the VA locally, making sure all vets get the care that they need.

Dr. James W. Poore – Sunday, January 29th, 2012 at 3:00

During the periods from 1961 through 1965 and 1968 through 1971 Col. Poore flew numerous missions into South Vietnam in support of US military activities in that country. Many such missions involved airlifting wounded, sick and injured personnel from Vietnam back to the Continental United States for medical treatment and hospitalization.
In the early phases of the conflict in Vietnam, missions were in support of the military advisory activities. Later, such missions also included positioning and resupplying of US military forces throughout Southeast Asia as well as the medical evacuation activities.
During the last half of 1971, Col. Poore was assigned to the USAF Advisory Group to help the South Vietnamese Air Force identify the organizational and staffing criteria necessary to enable them to assume full responsibility in defending their country. During the first half of 1972, Col. Poore was assigned to Headquarters Military Assistance Commend Vietnam and worked with the South Vietnamese Joint General Staff to determine equipping and planning criteria for all South Vietnamese Forces. That included intelligence activities in addition to the ground and air forces.
During that period, Col. Poore was tasked with providing to the White House the recommendations of the various US advisory groups, located in South Vietnam, concerning the actions required to extricate the US forces from South Vietnam.
During the entire period from June 1971 through June 1972,, Col. Poore also flew numerous missions throughout Southeast Asia in support of the US advisory activities in South Vietnam
