Mission Statement
“ Our sole purpose is to provide outreach to all former military service members (male AND female) and their families, and to assist those persons in gaining access to services and benefits due them for their service to our country. Sonoma County Vet Connect is an apolitical, not-for-profit partnership between a committee of veteran volunteers, federal, state and local government agencies, and select non-profit community organizations.”
Across the county, half-day clinics take place – monthly in Guerneville, Petaluma, and Sonoma, – and weekly in Santa Rosa.
We are here to serve all military veterans and their families, from the recently returned to the retirees, including those who have served in combat and in peacetime, and regardless of the character of discharge.
We are a one-stop, no-cost resource for information, assistance and referral regarding
- veterans’ benefits
- VA health care
- counseling for veterans and their families
- housing and employment counseling
and more. Any veteran’s information is held in the strictest confidence.
If you are a family member concerned about the emotional or physical health of a veteran, you are welcome to attend.
